Thermographic Print

Posted on , updated on

A traditional process where the business cards are printed in a wet ink and then coated in a plastic powder. It is then heated and the powder melts with the ink causing it to raise and bubble.  It is then left to go hard which gives the effect of embossed ink off the card.

This process can also be used for any other print item and more common on invitations, business cards and letterheads.
